The argan tree is a thorny shrub that grows almost exclusively in Morocco. Flowering takes place during the period from May to June. The fruit of the argan tree is a green drupe (fleshy stone fruit) containing an almond.

Argan oil has softening, anti drying and protective effects. It has revitalizing properties and is also moisturizing and restructuring thanks to its high level of unsaturated fatty acids.
